Misao Tsubaki - Textile Artist

Misao Tsubaki started out as a painter but developed in to making images with fabric and threads in many different colours with different, tactile qualities. 
Artist Statement: The stitches that I sew over this multi-layered fexible material are my 'own words', helping me to develop my own personal textures.
This is the type of work I would like to explore in Unit X. Working with the donated garments, I would like to explore working with a combination of drawings and photography, pushing and transforming the images digitally.
